Called GEN HEALTH PREMIER, the new product represents Generali's full-scale move into the premium health insurance market.
The plan is designed to go beyond the limitations of traditional lump-sum plans with enhanced premium features, while addressing the lifestyles of consumers who value comprehensive and long-term cost-effective coverage.
It targets both customers seeking premium-level health insurance that matches high-end medical services and expatriates working or residing in Thailand who require all-in-one coverage under a single policy.
The product is offered exclusively through Generali Insurance brokers only.
Ms Yuwadee Ngantaweekit, Chief Commercial Officer at Generali Thailand, said: "Currently, the premium customer segment and expatriates living in Thailand continue to grow, particularly those who use private hospitals that meet international standards, where medical expenses continue to rise every year.
“We have gained a key insight that this group of customers wants coverage that is 'clear and truly adjustable', especially per-visit inpatient lump-sum coverage that enables them to plan their medical expenses with greater confidence."
She added, "The needs of this customer group are unique. Having a professional broker who can help design a protection plan that suits their needs is an experience customers expect and is a key part of our strategy this year."
"GEN HEALTH PREMIER is designed for customers seeking clear coverage that includes major illnesses and can accommodate continuously rising medical costs, with a focus on providing peace of mind at every important stage of life," said Ms Yuwadee, reported Bangkok Post.
