Here’s a message from 2020 MDRT President Regina Bedoya on the situation:
Good day fellow MDRT members,
I hope this message finds you and your loved ones in good health.
Over the last several weeks MDRT has been closely monitoring the impact the coronavirus pandemic has had on the world. We recognize the seriousness of this crisis and have decided to conduct the 2020 Annual Meeting as a virtual, online experience. We will not be getting together in Anaheim – instead we will be leveraging technology and will deliver a state-of-the-art virtual experience, the likes of which we have yet to see. The messages from Main Platform, Focus Sessions and even the Connexion Zone will be streamed to you and will also be archived so that future generations of MDRT members can enjoy them.
This virtual meeting will be a new experience for many of us but one we are committed to delivering with the same high-quality standards that characterize all of our meetings. This June, we will make history by introducing yet another way for members to learn, to share, and to be inspired.
MDRT is committed to delivering value to its members, even when circumstances challenge our ability to do so.
As your President, I am grateful for the tremendous support and vote of confidence I’ve received from many of you. Serving as your President is an honor and a privilege because I believe in you and your ability to face any challenge with resilience, determination and faith in the future.
Thank you and please stay safe.
Regina Bedoya, CLU, ChFC
2020 MDRT President
