Chubb Life Assurance (Chubb Life Thailand) has launched its 678 Step Savings, a new savings product with life insurance designed to help customers achieve their financial planning goals.
The 678 Step Savings plan features a short premium payment term of six years, while offering long-term life coverage until the age of 78.
Customers are guaranteed an annual step-up cashback starting from 9% of the sum assured in the first year up to the age of 77, and a maturity benefit of up to 600% of the sum assured.
In the event of an unforeseen accident resulting in loss of life, customers will receive life insurance coverage of up to 1,200% of the sum assured or cash surrender values of paid premiums.

Features and benefits of the 678 Step Savings include:
- Premium payment term as short as six years with life coverage up to age 78;
- Guaranteed returns: starting from 9% of the initial sum assured from the end of the first policy year, gradually increasing to 11% of the initial sum assured from the end of the 14th policy year, up until the age of 77;
- Receiving a large sum payout of up to 600% at the end of the policy year once 78 years of age is reached;
- Receiving a payout benefit of up to 600% of the sum assured in case of death, or in case of death caused by an accident, receive a lump sum payout of up to 1,200%;
- Simple application process without the need for a medical examination or answering health-related queries; and
- Receiving a benefit from a personal income tax deduction for premiums paid, in accordance with the requirements of the Revenue Department.
The launch of the new product coincides with an advertising campaign featuring Mr New Chaiyapol Julian Pupart, a model and actor in Thailand, reported Bangkok Post.
