In the first round of remote judging some 40 finalists from 11 markets were shortlisted out of 400 nominations from 50 companies.
The Awards, organised by Asia Insurance Review and Asia Advisers Network, co-organised by LIMRA, and with AIA as Strategic Partner, is a neutral platform to recognise the best in life insurance agency and advisory across the region. Mr Mark Tucker, Group Chairman, HSBC Holdings, is Patron of the Awards.
The results will be kept secret and winners will only be announced at a gala awards dinner celebration on 7 May 2018 in Manila, held in conjunction with the 29th East Asian Insurance Congress, with Mr Dennis B Funa, Insurance Commissioner of the Philippines, as the guest of honour.
The transparent and independently-audited judging process has a distinguished judging panel comprising industry leaders and experts on the judging panel, and EY as auditor.
