FWD Life Insurance, in collaboration with Siam Commercial Bank (SCB), has launched a new online policy management channel by seamlessly connecting FWD Omne with the SCB EASY application.
This marks the first time a digital ecosystem has been integrated between the life insurance and banking businesses, allowing customers to manage all policy matters instantly through their familiar banking app without switching apps or logging in repeatedly.
This new service was developed under FWD's Digital by Design concept, which uses digital technology as the core to design a customer experience that is user-friendly, convenient, and secure at a bank level, while supporting real-time operations through key technologies including:
- Unified Identity Tech, an intelligent identity verification system that accurately connects to customer databases, allows FWD Omne to instantly "remember" customers, reducing the hassle of forgetting usernames or passwords. It's further enhanced with a security layer developed to bank-grade security standards to protect personal data at every step.
- Plug-and-Play Widget is an embedded display technology that updates information in real-time, allowing customers seamless access to information and services without needing to download additional applications.
FWD customers (especially those who purchased policies through bank channels) can access information and manage their policies directly on the SCB EASY app without switching between multiple platforms or remembering multiple passwords.
It covers checking policy information, benefits, investment value, premium payments, downloading premium payment certificates for tax deductions immediately, as well as submitting claims online and tracking their status – an end-to-end solution all in one place, reported Money & Banking Online.
