4th Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards - 54 finalists from 12 markets named

A total of 54 finalists from 12 markets have been named for the 4th Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards 2019. The Awards attracted over 400 entries this year.

A neutral platform recognising the best in life insurance agency and advisory across the region, the awards are highly sought-after marks of excellence.

The Awards is organised by Asia Insurance Review and Asia Advisers Network with LIMRA as co-organiser, and AIA as strategic partner. It has strictly defined criteria for each category and a transparent selection process helmed by a panel of 29 judges made up of CEOs, senior executives, association heads and industry experts. Mr Mark Tucker, Group Chairman, HSBC Holdings, is Patron of the Awards

The finalists were shortlisted after the first round of remote judging where judges read a 1,200-word write-up that accompanied each entry. The panel of judges will next meet on 22 May 2019 in Singapore to deliberate and select winners for the 13 categories, including Executive Champion of the Year, by secret ballot. The whole judging process is audited by EY.

The winners will be revealed only at the gala dinner in Bangkok on 18 July 2019 to be held in conjunction with the Agency Innovation Conference.

This year saw the introduction of Young Executive of the Year category to recognise the young talent and leaders of tomorrow, and InsurTech of the Year category to highlight the role of technology in enabling agents and advisers.
